As my kids became teenagers, I started paying more attention to the music they were listening to. Not just how it sounded, but the messages it carried.
A lot of it was incredibly creative. Great production. Great energy. Music they genuinely wanted to listen to. And I started wondering: what if I could create music just as good in genres where there really weren’t many God-honoring alternatives?
That idea stayed with me.
Then, on a trip to Northern Ireland, I was talking with a friend who told me how much he loved EDM, but there really wasn’t much available in that style with Christian lyrics or a biblical message.
That conversation connected the dots for me. I came home and began creating Jesus In The Music to offer God-honoring alternatives in the genres people already love.
Underneath all of it is the message that started this journey years ago: you are loved. You are seen. You have not been forgotten. And God has a plan and a purpose for your life.
These songs begin with Bible study, the stories of Scripture, and real seasons of life. I write and shape the message, then use AI-assisted music tools to help bring it to life. The technology is a tool; the purpose is the message.
I want the music to meet people where they are, give the feeling somewhere to go, and point them back toward biblical truth and Jesus.
I believe God may still have more places for me to go and more people for me to meet. Part of my hope for Jesus In The Music is that it can help me be ready for whatever He asks me to do next.
I never wanted that to mean simply asking people for money. I wanted to build something genuinely valuable in return: high-quality original Christian music you can use, enjoy, and share.

Music activates more regions of the brain at once than almost any other human activity — motor areas, emotional centers, and long-term memory all firing together. That's why you can forget a phone number in ten seconds but still recite the lyrics to a song you haven't heard in twenty years. Melody, rhythm, and rhyme act like hooks — they snag information and hold it in place long after the words alone would have faded.
This isn't a modern discovery. It's how God designed His people to carry truth before they had it in print.
Three different authors, three different eras, one consistent pattern: God has always used music to move truth from the page into the heart — and from the heart into memory that outlasts the moment it was learned.
That's the mechanism behind everything we write here. Not songs about Scripture — songs built to lodge Scripture where it can't be shaken loose.
I didn't pick Lofi, EDM/House, Drum & Bass, Reggae, and Coastal Christian because they're trendy. I picked them because almost nobody else has.
Across these five genres, the combined worldwide listening audience is somewhere between 30 and 60 million people — and the amount of biblically faithful music being made for them is next to nothing. That gap is the point. These aren't niche corners of music; they're underserved mission fields with headphones already in.
God doesn't love a listener less because their genre doesn't have a Christian radio station. Every one of those 30–60 million people is exactly as loved, exactly as pursued, and exactly as worth reaching as anyone in the genres that already have a hundred faithful artists. We just went where the need was loudest and the answer was quietest.
Every song is personally reviewed for consistency with Scripture. Poetic expression and storytelling are welcomed, while clear contradictions, false promises, and misleading biblical teaching are not.
