God never meant His truth to be taught once and forgotten. He built it to be sung, repeated, and carried into the ordinary moments of everyday life — the drive to work, the walk through the house, the quiet before sleep.
Jesus In The Music takes truth that’s meant for your good and hides it inside the sound you already turn to. Not just heard once — carried. Ready to surface the moment you actually need it.
A sermon may teach the truth once. A song can keep bringing the same truth back.
Jesus In The Music was never meant to replace your church. Nothing here can do what your pastor, your community, and gathering with other believers do — that’s where He builds you, corrects you, and knows your name.
This is for the rest of the week. The drive to work. The load of laundry. The quiet ten minutes before bed. The hours your church can’t be in the room with you, but truth still can be.
We’re not trying to gather you. We’re trying to send you back better.
Made with intention.
Jesus In The Music is an independent music project crafted and curated by one person — a Christian, husband, and father of four adopted children — with the goal of creating encouraging, Biblically accurate music across a wide range of genres.
Jesus In The Music exists to teach and reinforce biblical truth through memorable songs people want to hear again and again.
My faith is not abstract to me. I’ve been to Israel. I’ve walked along the Sea of Galilee where Jesus taught. I’ve stood in the place traditionally identified as the cell where He was held before His crucifixion, and I’ve stood inside the tomb traditionally associated with His burial. Those experiences did not create my faith, but they made the places of Scripture tangible in a way I will never forget. For me, the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus are not distant ideas. I believe they are true, and that conviction shapes everything I make here.
Every song that makes this catalog has been shaped by hand. Lyrics, structure, tempo, instrumentation, counts, arrangement, phrasing, revisions, and countless small decisions have all been touched and refined along the way. Many songs never make the final list. These are the ones that did.
This is meant to be a safe place to come when you need something clean, hopeful, honest, and rooted in truth. A place to be refreshed, encouraged, strengthened, and reminded that God sees you.
The library is always growing, with new songs added every month and original audio travel adventures being added over time.
Some songs in this catalog began first as written reflections and encouragement at The Second Act Ministry• Encouragement reaching 116+ countries. If you enjoy the message behind the music, that’s where you can read more of the writing that helped shape it. Visit The Second Act Ministry →
This has been a passion project for me over the last 10 months. It started as a blank piece of paper. I’ve created the music, lyrics, song structures, book stories, audio, and website (that works). I’ve had to learn things I never thought I would learn. I’ve quit more times than I could count. Things failed over and over. I kept doubting myself and wondering if I could ever get this to this point.
I wanted the end product to be a Class A product, not a B- or C-rated Christian product. My entire goal was to remind people they are loved, seen, and not forgotten by their Heavenly Father.
